Play Condition Service
A play condition (PC) service is the basic check-up service for an instrument that needs routine maintenance or has been in storage for up to a year. The intention is that the instrument will play through its full range at the end of this service, and we may make recommendations for a more thorough repair in the future. It includes the following:
Check for leaks; replace up to 3 pads, 2 key corks, and 1 spring; adjustments and regulation as needed to restore function; play test; sanitize mouthpiece; vacuum case

Full Cleaning
A full cleaning is our recommendation for any new-to-you used instrument purchase, as well as a maintenance recommendation every 1-3 years, depending on usage. The full cleaning includes everything listed in the PC service above, as well as the following:
Complete disassembly; full cleaning of body and non-padded keys with chemicals and methods appropriate to material type; wipe-down cleaning of padded keys; application of synthetic lubricants during reassembly

Repad
The nature of pad materials means they do wear out, even with the best care. We can replace individual pads, and do in the above services and ala carte, but when an instrument needs 40% or more of its pads replaced, we recommend doing a full repad for the best quality outcome. Our repad process includes the following:
Remove keys; remove existing pads and clean out pad cups; measure and assemble custom pad set; fully clean all components with appropriate chemicals/methods; install new pad set; reassemble with synthetic lubricants; level pads; adjustments/regulation as needed to restore function; play test; sanitize mouthpiece; vacuum case
